This year, as a result of our ministry, we have seen God do the following:
Thousands of people
trusted Christ as their Savior.
More than 1,200 people
received Baptism.
Couple thousands
gained assurance of salvation.
Thousand of people
attended discipleship classes and Bible Studies.
Churches’ Updates:
In Vietnam, we have over
8,000 members within 100 House Fellowship Churches (Grow from 79
churches to 100 in 2005. PTL)
In Cambodia, the churches
grow exponentially. Today we have between 25,000-30,000 members within 400
HFC. (A miracle of church growth in Cambodia by the power of the Holy
Spirit. For example, One morning, we baptized 450 people, and another month
in the afternoon, we baptized 150 people, then 100, 150, etc. PTL.)
In Laos, one new church was
planted with the membership of 110.
200 Pastors/Church Planters
attended May-2005 Leadership Conference in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Two new churches buildings
were half-way built---not completed because lack of the funding.
6 wells were dug to provide
clean water to 500 families and the local church.
A solar power system was
installed to provide electricity and water pump for one church in the remote
village of Cambodia.
34 micro-loans were
established in Vietnam to help the underground churches.
A BGC Vietnamese Conference
was organized last June in Portland Oregon for all VBGC Pastors and their
congregations. It was a blessing conference.
***Thousands of Bilingual
Our Daily Bread booklets were translated and printed and distributed
quarterly.
The
translation of the following were done but not printed yet due to lack of
the funding:
1. NIV Bible Study
Reference 4 volumes
$50,000USD is needed
[It was translated and completely laid out and ready to be printed. This
major project was done by my team- 24 people worked for several years]
2. “Leadership”, Dr. Leith
Anderson was done
$ 5,000 USD is needed
3. Walk Through The Bible:
Old & New Testament
$14,000 USD is needed
4. “My Church”, Dr. Gordon
Johnson
$10,000 USD is needed
5. Our Daily Bread,
Quarterly Printing
$45,000 USD per year
The need for printing the
above books is crucial. Please pray that God will raise up and move
someone/donors or churches to support the printing of those books.
I’m currently working on
the translation of the “Fire & Reign” series.
