My wife, Rhonda, and I and our two children, Karisa (17) and Kyle (13), have lived in San Diego for the past 14 years.  Rhonda and I have known each other since Jr. high, graduated in 1982 in Ventura, CA,  and have been married for 20 years.  I am the son and grandson of ministers.  I received my B.A. in Pastoral Ministries from Southern California College (now Vanguard University) in Costa Mesa, CA, and am currently working on my master’s degree from the same institution.

I am especially interested in helping people get connected with the bigger picture of what God is doing around the world.  As a result, I have had the privilege of participating in and leading missions teams of youth and adults all over Mexico and many other places in the world. 

As a family we love music, the beach, sports and art. We have been a part of the VGC family since 2003, and we look forward to being a part of the good things that God is doing in and through the wonderful folks that call Vista Grande Church, home.
