Dr. Steve Sparks & his wife, Suzanne, and their children - Maddie, Annie, Corey and Joey - serve as medical missionaries at Mbingo Baptist Hospital in Cameroon, West Africa. The Sparks are long time members of Vista Grande Community Church. In 2005, Dr. Sparks left the staff of the USCD medical center in San Diego, CA where he was the chief of vascular surgery. He and Suzanne were appointed as missionaries by the Baptist General Conference (now Converge Worldwide) and are supported monthly by VGCC and other church families.
