4 to 5 Year Olds

Awana Cubbies is a weekly Bible-based club program for preschoolers (children must be at least 4 by September 30 of the current year).  It is a positive, fun environment where children learn and grow.

The fun begins with "Story Time" and a visit from Cubbie Bear puppet and his friends.  During "Book Time", Bible verses are reviewed.  Children receive award patches for lessons completed and verses recited which are displayed on their Cubbie uniform vests.  Children also enjoy songs, crafts, games, and special activities.

The goal of Cubbies is for leaders to work together with parents in nurturing preschoolers to help them develop healthy spiritual concepts of God, family and other people.  The verses they memorize will "plant seeds" that will help them understand basics of the Christian faith.  Club time helps preschoolers develop positive attitudes toward church leadership.
