AWANA is a boys and girls club (children in kindergarten thru 6th grade) that focuses on learning God's Word in a fun atmosphere. Each week, AWANA provides posotive teaching and training that stresses strong moral and spritual values and is a program in which the entire family can be involved.

The emphasis of AWANA is on Bible memoraziation- getting children involved in learning God's word and developing a personal relationship with Him.

A typical club night consists of Game time (exciting team games). Handbook time(memory verse & lesson with their leaders), and Council time (Club Director and Leaders share a Gospel message). There is also Special Theme Nights and events such as the AWANA Grand Prix and the AWANA Olymic Games, Bible Quizzes and Talent Competition.

We are excited to offer this program and look forward to providing a safe and fun place where children can learn, grow, and experince the love of our wonderful God. Awana at VGCC is on Sunday evenings from 4:00p.m. - 6:00pm.
