Curriculum

Our daily curriculum is devoted to the needs and the individual development of each child.  Our objective is to provide a learning environment using the monthly thematic approach.  Through planned activities, field trips, and other enrichment opportunities, your child is exposed to creative arts, math and reading readiness, music and movement, dramatic play, language development, and both large and small muscle developments.

 Scriptural principals are presented to the children through books, songs and flannel board stories.  Prayer is said before each meal.  Christian and positive social principals (sharing, loving and friendship) are stressed.

 BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM:
This program is designed to accommodate school age children.  They are transported to and from school each day in our Adventure Days bus.  The afternoon is designed to be fun and relaxing.  An opportunity to complete homework assignments is provided.  Lunch is included in the program for kindergartner through fifth grades on a half-day schedule.

 INTERSESSION AND SUMMER ENRICHMENT:
During school breaks Adventure Days plans a full day for your child.  The curriculum is built around weekly themes including a cooking project, field trips, art and academics, which give your child a variety of educational experiences.
