My wife, Rhonda, and I have lived in San Diego since 1992. Rhonda and I have known each other since Jr. high. We graduated from competing high schools in 1982 in Ventura, CA, and were married in July of 1985. We have two grown children, Kyle, who is working and going to college, and, Karisa who is studying medicine at Loma Linda University.
I am the son and grandson of ministers. I received my M.A. in Church Leadership from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA. I am especially interested in helping people get connected with the bigger picture of what God is doing around the world. As a result, I have had the privilege of participating in and leading missions teams of youth and adults all over Mexico and many other places in the world. As a family we love music, the beach, sports and art. We have been a part of the VGCC family since 2003, and we look forward to being a part of the good things that God is doing in and through the wonderful folks that call Vista Grande Community Church home.
